( 1 ) Hyderabad's last Nizam Osman Ali Khan named all-time richest Indian  was ranked sixth with $ 236 billion in the list of the world's richest people of all time.
( 2 ) India has been ranked at a poor 115 by a global survey which looked into the level of economical empowerment of women in 128 countries and the list was topped by Australia.
( 3 ) Railways successfully tests anti-collision technology  based on a combination of GPS and Radio Frequency-enabled technology between Navandgi and Mantatti stations in Ranga Reddy district of Andhra pradesh.
( 4 ) Sachin Tendulkar to be made member of "Order of Australia" an honour “rarely” awarded to non-Australians.
( 5 ) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said India will spend $50 million to strengthen the institutional mechanisms for protection of biological diversity during its two-year presidency of the Convention on Biological Diversity at Hyderabad.
( 6 ) World Gold Council in partnership with India Post and Reliance Money Infrastructure offers 7% discount on gold coins  from India Post offices across India to celebrate the festival of Dussehra and Diwali .
( 7 ) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Citigroup Vikram Pandit resigned and now his place will be taken by  Michael Corbat.
