The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) was established on 27th October 1986 for development and regulation of inland waterways for shipping and navigation in Indian water territories which has a length of 14,500 km, out of which about 5200 km of river and 4000 km of canals can be used by mechanized crafts by Indian government. The Authority primarily undertakes projects for development and maintenance of IWT infrastructure on national waterways through grant which are received from Ministry of Shipping. The head office of the Inland Waterways Authority of India is at Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The Authority also has its regional offices at Kolkata,Patna, Guwahati and Kochi and sub-offices at Varanasi, Allahabad, Bhaglapur, Farakka and Kollam,so there are six ( 6) waterways in india at present

Indian cinema popularly knows as bollywood is the second largest film making industry after hollywood in the world and has seen many up and down in this long journey from the year back in 1913 to 2014 and still going on consistent basis.The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the highest award in Indian cinema given annually at the National film Awards function.
why this award and for what ?
The government of India started a new National Film Award in the year 1969 knows as the Dadasaheb Phalke Award,in the centenary birth year of Dadasaheb Phalke who is also knows as "the father of Indian cinema" so to honor Dhundiraj Govind Phalke ( 1870--1944) this most prestigious and coveted award is named after him.

Assets wise SBI bank holds a first position in Indian banking industry.Its foundation history is associated through the Imperial Bank of India ,to the founding in 1806 of the Bank of Calcutta.Later the time come when Bank of Madras merged into the other two presidency bank named as Bank of Bombay and Bank of Calcutta to form the Imperial Bank of India ,which is named as State bank of India when government of India owned the Imperial Bank id India in 1955. Today knows as State bank of India.Most of the regions Sbi holds a position of lead bank having a 20% market share in deposit and loans among Indian commercial banks.
